A men’s ministry within the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, in the Diocese of Miami and the Southeast.
Our goal
To help each other become more like God.
Our priority is to model our lives after the Holy Trinity. Through prayer, service, mentorship, and fellowship, we encourage one another to grow in Christ and put our faith into practice.

We identify the needs of our parishes and work together to meet them, offering our time, talents, and care to strengthen parish life.
Being positive role models
We come alongside younger men, listen to their concerns, and show the way through faithful example and meaningful relationships.
Living the Gospel of Christ
We apply the wisdom and life of Orthodox Christian tradition to the circumstances and challenges men face today.
Building spiritual fellowship
We encourage in-person and virtual retreats, pilgrimages, and gatherings that deepen our faith and strengthen our bonds as brothers in Christ.
Leading through prayer
Prayer is at the heart of our ministry. We share needs, actively pray for those in difficulty, and encourage men to be prayer leaders in the Church.
Why AMEN was formed
Men need a place to grow in the life of the Church, build trusted relationships, and find guidance through every stage of life. AMEN brings men together to meet that need.
- Connection and guidance. Men who lack a father figure or trusted mentor need someone to talk to and someone to help show the way.
- A path into adult parish life. As young men move from SOYO to Young Adult Fellowship and beyond, AMEN offers an ongoing place for fellowship and service.
- Support through life’s transitions. College and young adulthood can challenge a person’s connection to the Church. Consistent relationships and faithful role models can help.
- Wisdom for today’s challenges. Technology and changing cultural pressures create new difficulties, especially for young men. We seek to understand those challenges and respond with care.
- A shared responsibility. Alongside spiritual fathers, older men have a calling to encourage and guide younger men. AMEN helps put that calling into practice.

Rooted in the parish
AMEN’s structure is built around the life of the local parish. Our goal is an active chapter with leadership in every parish, responding to the particular needs of its community.
Each parish and each person has different needs. Chapters are encouraged to serve those needs directly, with a simple structure that supports meaningful ministry. AMEN has its own purpose and approach, shaped by the spiritual growth and fellowship of men.
What you can expect
- Opportunities to learn. Virtual and in-person retreats and educational events that support growth in the Orthodox faith.
- Room to grow in self-knowledge. Encouragement to examine our lives, understand ourselves more deeply, and grow in Christ.
- Meaningful work and service. Opportunities to build, create, provide, and protect in ways that serve our families, parishes, and communities.
- Fellowship with purpose. Social gatherings and fundraising may support the ministry, while spiritual growth remains our primary goal.
